04 · Method

The piano came first.
Everything else is
arrangement.

Years at the piano before the mixer, and that training is the whole method. A set is a composition: it has tension, it has release, and it has a melody you can still hum on the way to the car.

The floor gets carried, not dropped. Warm daytime grooves early, hypnotic late night territory after midnight, and the live keys come out when the room has earned them. Open to close is the preferred format, because an hour is a sketch and a night is a story.

Austin is the home floor. Resident with Floppy Disko, with nights played at East End Ballroom, Stardust Garage and on Snake Island in the middle of Lady Bird Lake. Managed by Dance Transit Authority.
